Introduction - Overview of New Albion Academy
New Albion Academy is a Christian liberal arts community that focuses on language and mathematics instruction with applied study in the humane letters, sciences, music, and theology.

New Albion was founded in 2006 by experienced educators who sought to create an academic learning community that valued:

•    Orthodox Reformed Christianity
•    Human Relationships
•    Rigorous Classical Learning

New Albion Academy is Faculty-Governed. The educational philosophy and direction of New Albion are determined by the same faculty members who teach your children.

The heart of the curriculum at New Albion is the trivium, comprised of three disciplines:

•    Latin Grammar
•    Formal Logic
•    Classical Rhetoric

Teachers seek to study deeply rather than broadly, and are dedicated to teaching the trivium so that it is mastered by the students. The students also pursue knowledge in the mathematical disciplines, humane letters, sciences, music, and theology. In all disciplines a studious and reflective mindset is cultivated by the faculty who seek to engender diligent study in an unhurried atmosphere.

New Albion Academy is Family-Friendly. We wish to support and augment families. We do not desire to replace or supplant the relationship of each child with his family. We welcome parents to visit all classes at any time. Also, we offer families the choice of enrolling in any course(s) that assist them in meeting their unique educational goals.
